  • Works of Public Art - From murals and street art to sculptures, West Hartford comes alive with works of public art across town. Look up, look down, look side to side, you never know what you will see!

  • Playhouse on Park - One of the most celebrated professional theatre companies in the country. They bring to life full seasons of plays, musicals, comedy nights, improv, children's shows and dance.

  • The West Hartford Symphony - Under the direction of Richard Chiarappa since its founding in 2002, the symphony has delighted the ears and stirred the emotions of its audience.  Each member’s mastery of their instrument creates a world class musical journey for all ages.

  • Ballet Theatre Company - Founded in 1999, Ballet Theatre Company enriches the greater Hartford area by offering professional caliber dance productions, dance education for ages 3 to adult, and dance related workshops free of charge to children who otherwise would not have the opportunity through BTC's Community Youth Outreach Program.

  • West Hartford Art League - "The West Hartford Art League is a non-profit art organization offering art classes for children and adults, monthly art exhibits in our two galleries, a public art program and a summer art camp."

  • Elizabeth Park - Elizabeth Park is on the national register of historic places. Elizabeth Park offers just over one hundred acres of formal gardens, green space, recreational facilities, walking loops, and the Pond House Café. Come enjoy the beauty of the gardens and grounds.   • Noah Webster House & Historical Society - The mission of the Noah Webster House & West Hartford Historical Society is to preserve, interpret, and champion Noah Webster’s legacy and birthplace, as well as the evolving history of West Hartford, the town that nurtured him.

  • USJ Art Museum - With more than 2,100 works of art, changing installations, a print study room, and a variety of programs for the University and the public, the Art Museum provides myriad opportunities for the study and enjoyment of art.

  • West Hartford Community Theater - West Hartford Community Theater, Inc. (WHCT) opened its doors in the fall of 2008 with the goal of providing a high quality, live, musical theater experience to West Hartford and the greater Hartford Community. Their vision has become a reality as, year after year, WHCT continues to produce quality productions showcasing the unique and richly diverse talent in West Hartford and surrounding communities.

  • West Hartford Women’s Chorale - Founded in 2004, the mission of the West Hartford Women's Chorale is to enrich the cultural life of the community by performing a broad repertoire of vocal music and to provide music and music education for the benefit of the community. The Chorale takes pride in performing challenging, diverse music in a broad range of innovative and entertaining styles.

  • Connecticut Family Theater Inc.

  • Capital Classics Theatre Company - Capital Classics, a non-Equity professional theatre company, was founded in 1991 to enrich the cultural environment of Greater Hartford through the theatre arts. We are committed to providing classical entertainment that is affordable, accessible and engaging; serving the community with cultural and educational programming; and providing job opportunities and training to Connecticut's professional theatre artists.

  • West Hartford Arts & Culture Commission - “Connecticut’s nonprofit arts and culture industry generates $797.3 million in economic activity in state, supports more than 23,000 jobs annually and returns $72.3 million in revenue to local and state coffers.” Founded in 2020, this community organization’s goal is to further highlight and support arts and culture in West Hartford.

  • WeHa Arts Emporium - Started by a local artist, Stefanie Marco, who wanted to bring other West Hartford artists together and create a group that connects local artists with the West Hartford community. Over the years they have held art shows and curated different venues, like the library galleries, Sally and Bob's, and currently the GastroPark. "For the Community, By the Community" 
West Hartford Community Interactive (WHCi) is a nationally-recognized, non-profit community media center that offers a grass-roots approach to media. It’s a place where people come together to connect, create and share.  All programs are produced and/or presented by West Hartford residents.

The WHCi team offers a hand-on approach to learning video production through personalized training, workshops and equipment check-out. Check out the studio, a state-of-the art media production space located in West Hartford Town Hall that serves as the operations center for the town's Public, Education and Government Channels. The station partners with the town and schools to provide gavel to gavel coverage of local town and school board meetings and high school concerts, sports and graduations. Local non-profits and WHCi work together to present coverage of parades, community conversations and cultural events.
